As a Mage, there is a lot of stuff you can get away with. Some of these tricks you might know already see below: 
   Now that Blizzard added push backs, playing as fire has never been so fun. Let us just give you a list of the stuff you can do and how to do them:
   The first one is blocking off a spell, if you use blast wave on someone who is casting a spell it well cancel the spell if your timing is right you would not believe the fights we have had where we have done this.
   The second one is blast waving people off stuff. With blast wave, you can blast wave people off cliffs, zepplins and of course off there flying mounts. Blast waving people off flying mounts is the funniest thing ever. There is a simple macro that you might know such as Dismount and Cast Blast Wave.
   All you need to do is get close to someone on there flying mount, and hit that magic macro and then lightfall.
   The third one is blast waving mobs off cliffs in instance. We have done this a few times and it has saved a group wipe. When we ran our friend by UB, we pulled a add and knew it was going to wipe us, so we pulled it near the end of this cliff and blast waved it off, it took a good three minutes for it to come all the way back up which saved us some time.
   Blink is known for getting Mages out of stuns or for helping them kite but there is one more thing Mages can do with blink, trick these enemies. To do fake blink, there are two different ways that you should take into account:
   The first way is that you cast blink, you should turn your character quickly and you well end up blinking the other way. This is really hard to explain but pretty much before your blink blinks you and you need to turn what ever direction.
   The second way is that you face one direction, should turn your character quickly backwards with the mouse, and then blink.
   And also you are able to jump off a cliff and then blink back on. It seems to be nerfed now but it was fun when it lasted and you can still get away with doing it. The following tips may help you how to do it.
   One is to jump of cliff and another is to use your right mouse button turn your character and blink back. So now you can take practice to do it now.
   The other cool thing to do with blink is to jump off a cliff and then blink the second before you hit the ground. You can also take this into practice.
   Slow fall is a very fun spell to use in certain situations, in AB you can use it to go down to the Gold mine, or to jump off Lumber Mill. Slow fall with rocket boots is like a shammy. By far it is the best spell in the game.
